Bad Impacts of Using Social Media
Social media are
online media which makes the users can easily do communication to other users.
The social media use internet connection. Andreas Kaplan and Michael Haenlein
defined that social media are “a group which basically on internet which
building based on ideology and technology, and make possibility to create and
exchange the users-generated-content. According to Cohen ( 2015) : Social media
are the platforms that enables the interactive web by engaging users to
participate in, comment on and create content as means of communicating with
their social graph, other users and the public.
Social media have many kinds of
different characteristics, have different surplus, have different minus, etc.
The example of social media are blogspot, blackberry messenger, instagram,
path, we heart it, snap chat, periscope, facebook, twitter, and so on. The most
users of social media are teenagers. According the statistics use of social
media are almost unavoidable and 73% of teens 12–17 are using face book. But
workers sometimes also have account of social media, but maybe they are not too
rarely use their account.
Social media make the users easily to
do communication with other peole who far from the users. Social media also
make the users easily get the information about what just happening. Not only
we can get information, but also social media also can educate about
technology. In other hand, social media also create bad impacts for the users.
The bad impacts of using social media are pornography, cyber crime, being addicted,
being difficult to do communication in the real life, and less the private of
the users.
First, pornography, internet and social media are place which the user
can post whatever the likes. Include they can post photos or videos who
actually are their private, but they share in public. Sometimes we don’t really
recognize them. They maybe can take and save our private collection and
whatever they like, they can share to public our private collection. They also
can edit our photo with sense of pornography. In social media contain some
pornography account which in form photos or videos. As parents, they have to
check social media account of their child. When their child has social media,
parents also have to have social media account. So, they are can check their
children’s social media accounts. When parents get pornography account in
children’s social media account, they have to ask to them, then parents can
give some advices.
Second,
cyber crime, it means do crimes in the internet, which include in social media,
for example : the cases in Indonesia, some teenagers of the users facebook,
they are victims of cyber crime. Some of them become victims of deception,
kidnapping, killing, moreover raping. Firstly, they suspect become friends of
victims’ social media. After that, they chat them by social media, after that
they chat them and invite the victims to meet. When they were met, the suspect
begin do their crime as they planning. So, the users of social media have to
careful chat and become friends with someone who not they recognize in social
media. The example of
the case occurred on September 2015, a student of junior high school Budi Utomo
Depok which have initial name ASS, and she is 14 years old was kidnap by a man
who she recognize at social media. A man who kidnap give two hundred thousand
rupiahs to the girl. During the victim with kidnapper, he was raped the girl 4
times.
Third,
they are being addicted. Research team headed by Wilhelm Hoffmann of Chicago University concluded
in 2012 that twitter is harder to resist than cigarettes and alcohol.

their duties. For example : when students being addicted of social media, they
like to post everything which they do to public. This is make they can’t
concentrate to study. They maybe also prefer choose their gadget to post
something than to write a book for study. So, a day to a day they can’t live
without gadget. They will being addicted and in every time and everywhere, from
wake up until go to bed, they always use their gadget.
Fourth,
they are difficult to do communication with people around them. The users of
social media usually do communication by internet or not face to face. So, they
are who usually do communication by unreal world will difficult when have to do
communication in the real world. The users of social media who was addicted of
using social media sometimes not care with something around them. They also
become egoist, because they are emphasize themselves. People who like online on
social media, when meet with their friend they look prefer concentrate on their
gadget, so they not communication by face to face.
Fifth,
they are will less their private collection. Because in social media they can
post everything. The users of social media without aware publish something
which actually we not necessary or not suitable for publish in public. So, the
users of social media can know everything about us just by read our timeline.
The other users of social media can look arrogant when they share everything
about them.
In conclusion,
social media is online
media which makes the users can easily do communication to other users. Social
media can give good impacts if we use smartly.
Second also can create bad impacts,
such as : pornography, cyber crime, being addicted, difficult to do
communication and less private collection. So, the user have to careful when
use social media. They also have to balance or not over when use social media.
Better the user post something important, informative, educate or entertainment
in their social media. So, social media can result good or bad impacts depend
the users.

Great Grebeg Demak ( Grebeg Besar Demak )
Great Grebeg Demak is a large traditional cultural event that became one
characteristic of Demak City. Demak Great Grebeg
tradition takes place every year on the 10th Dzulhijah or when Eid al-Adha which is celebrate in every
moeslem .
The process of Great Grebeg Besar demak is first pilgrimage to graveyard of Sultan Demak and Sunan Kalijaga. The implementation do with the regent and the placeman and their couple. First on the Sultan Demak graveyard at Agung Demak Mosque and go on to graveyard of Sunan Kalijaga in Kadilangu, Demak. The pilgrimate is implemented at 4pm. It is about 10 days before 10 Dzulhijah or Eid al-Adha.Other celebrate is night market in the Tembiring Jogo Indah, the night market about a month. It is before Eid al-Adha until a week after Eid al- Adha. This celebrate is open by regent. When night market many people from Demak came to night market. The night market consist of many seller which sell many things, such as ; suits, food, household appliances, toys, etc. in the night market also consist of other entertain. Such as in recreational venicle. You can enjoy recreational venicle with low prize. The price about 5.000 rupiahs for a person at a venicle.
At the night Eid al- Adha, the next celebration is “Salvation of Tumpeng nine”. That is begin at mid-night. The location is in Agung Demak Mosque. Before nine Tumpeng was scramble, the nine tumpeng was bring from district hall with scholars and students and other guest was invited to Masjid Agung Demak. The nine tumpeng is the icon of Wali Sanga which contain of nine of wali which was distributed Islam religion in Java Island, This salvation do every year in order to Demak residence get blessing safe and happy in the world and hereafter from God. This salvation begin with public recitation then continue with pray together. Previously, tumpeng nine will scramble by visitors. But, right now visitors will get food. the regent gives food in order to people not scramble in order to get tumpeng nine and during recent years tumpeng nine didn’t share to visitor. As a change, regent gives food to change tumpeng nine. Whereas at Kadilangu also do that same activity is called “Ancakan Salvation”. The purpose of that salvation is in order to get blessing from God , elders and people which do ‘Penjamasan” or wash heritage can do their duty fluently without any hitch when the process and for respect the guests and stay in touch each others.
The next process is pray Eid together at the Agung Demak Mosque with regent, after that the regent submit sacrificial animals. Later on, the process is Penjamasan ( wash heritage ). The wash heritage is begin after pray Eid al-Adha in Sunan Kalijaga graveyard, Kadilangu, Demak. The heritages consist of Kutang Ontokusuma and Kyai Crubuk Ceremonial knive. The wash heritage have mean in order to after wash the heritages, moeslem can back purify themselves and improve their faith and pray to God. As long as elders wash the heritages prohibited to see the heritages. The myth, if someone see the heritages they are will be blind. Before do the carnival, the ceremony is open with traditional dance Bedhoyo Tunggal Jiwo then continueThe carnival culture which begins from Demak Regency Hall up to Sunan Kalijaga Kadilangu which located in the village, the location about 2 kilometers from the start of the event. If the carnival is finish, the celebrate of Great Grebeg Demak is over.
Movie Review "The Devil Wears Prada"
This
movie told about Andrea Sach or usually called
Andy Sach, she was graduated from Northwestern University at Faculty of
Journalism. She was called for interview as assistant of Miranda Priestly. She
was Director of Runway magazine, she was very discipline. Andy want worked
there because she thought after work at Runway, she would got easily work at
New York publishing. Runway was a mode fashion magazine.
Emily,
first assistant insulted Andy with said Andy hasn’t interested at fashion so
she is not suitable work at Runway. When Andrea interview by Miranda, Miranda
says Andy not suitable work in Runway because from appearance Andy looked very
not fashionable. But Andy tried convinced to Miranda that Andy is smart, learner
fast but Miranda not respond so Andy left that office. But Emily ran to Andy
and said Andy received be assistant and began that day she is be hard worker.
Not
like as assistant generally, Miranda’s assistant so different because be
assistant Miranda not only work at office. Miranda’s assistant also work many
business such as her children and anything. Emily, taught Andy the job of
assistant. Emily said to Andy that she very want gone to Paris with Miranda to
attended in Fashion week and met many famous designer.
Andy
teold with her father about her work and her father so worried with her daughter.
Because that job so made Andy be so busy and must be ready whenever Miranda called
Andy. Her father want to Andy left that job but Andy not heard advice from her
father. She was still want to be assistant because she thought this is way in
order to could work be Journalist easily.
First,
Andrea has commitment never changed her appearance just because her job as
assistant. She is want still be herself and never changed her appearance like
other stupid women which is at Runway. When Miranda looked angry and not like
with her appearance and said “She is same with other woman, her work not good”.
Andy very sad heard that and she is gone to Nigel and Nigel helped changed
appearance of Andy be fashionable with gave many things branded and made over
Andy be more beauty than before.
The
new appearance of Andy made Emily so surprised and envied with Andy. Miranda
also like with her new appearance. When Andy met her boys friend ( Nate ). Nate
not recognized with her and he like with new appearance. Not only Andy’s
apperance which is changed but her life also change. Andy be far with her
family, friend and her boys friend he
also date with Christian Thompson for got Harry Potter novel.
When
celebrated of Runway anniversary, that day also birthday of Nate. Andy choosen
come in Runway anniversary. Nate so
angry because Andy more choosne to attended that celebrated than celebrated
Nate’s birthday. Finally she is late for says “happy birthday” with Nate and
then Nate angry with her.
Day
pass, Fashion week at Paris will happened. Miranda want Andy which is gone to
Paris with her not Emily because amily sick and she is also sick at hospital
because accident. Before Andy go to Paris, Nate want their relationship broke
because he knew Andy so busy with her job and Nate was nothing in Andy’s eyes. Andy
so sad heard Nate said that.
Andy
be knew other side of Miranda, he usually called with predicate “ The Dragon
Lady” which is so obsession with her job, with her career and careless with her
family. That made her married always finally separated with her husband. Andy
also knew that Miranda used tricky to stayed in her position as director. This
is made Andy decided for leave from that job.
Then
Andy has good relationship with Nate again after leaft her job. Andy also got
interview from New York Mirror Editorial Office and her dream came true she is
be Journalist at there. After that, Andy called Emily and gave many things from
Paris for Emily. This is made Emily so happy. Andy also said “Good luck” to
give spirit to Emily for hard worker.
The
plus of this movie is taught must be hard worker. The minus from this movie is
the bad attitude when the people so obsesson with her job and more choose
career and careless with her family, used tricky to got something. I think the
last minus from this movie is told and dicrabed free sex before married.

Verbal Violence by Parents
Verbal violence is
kind of violence which in form of spoken violence. The verbal violence include
of shout at, insulted, snap at, refusing rudely, make a shy in public place,
say rudely, and so on. People who do verbal violence maybe they are who born in
a family who always do verbal violence or maybe people who like say rudely and can’t control their emotion.
Some people rarely do
verbal violence. Some people also assumed that verbal violence is commonplace.
Even parents usually do verbal violence at their children. Parents also assumed
that verbal violence is commonplace. So, they are repeat verbal violence to
their children who do mistakes.
Verbal violence which
they think are commonplace and be their habit. In other hand, angry to their
children use verbal violence not really make children be better. Moreover,
appear new problems, especially for children. These are some verbal violence
which usually parent do it : children in wrong place, parents never give
appreciation of everything was done, children always be the target of angry,
parents always assumed that children always do parents’ order, parents say that
the children nothing, foolish, stupid, and parents always compare their
children to another.
First, children are
always wrong. Parents usually accuse something to their children. This is make
children bored, be emotional or not pay attention of their parents. When was
child may children just shut up, but whn become adult may can feel bored and
tired. They also may be say complaint rudely. Sometimes when children shut up
when their parents angry not always mean that they aware of their mistakes, but
may be because they afraid of their children.
Second, parents never
give appreciation of everything was done by their children. For example : when
children get bad mark, parents will angry and demand their children to get good
mark. However, when children get good mark, they also demand to get perfect
scores in all of the subjects. Parents should give support and good advice when
their children get bad mark, and when their children get good marks , they
should appreciate it. In order to the children feel appreciated and keep their
spirit for try their best.
Third, children
become target of angry. When parents get some problem which from jobs,
financial etc. if they are can’t control their emotion, they will easily angry
to their children because of just a little problem. Firstly children will shock
or afraid, but more and more happen, they will assumed that is common things.
So, they are easily to forget it.
Fourth, parents
assumed that children have to do parents’ order. The parents never give change
to their children for share their opinion. So, they have to parents order and
when parents wrong and their children want to give their opinion, they not
allow them. For example: when parents’ angry and say something for correct
parents’ argument, they will say if their children begin impolite and become
child who like refute. This is look simple, but actually this is effect in
children’ life. For instance: they become unconfident and difficult to share
argument in public.
Fifth, parents say to
children if they are foolish, stupid, nothing or other bad things. The children
which get that statement will sad. Not only sad, but also children live unconfidently
in everything. Children also assumed that they are nothing and really stupid.
However, when children unconfident, parents become angry and demand children
become confident. They are not aware that what they do to their children are
effect to children’ attitude.
Sixth, parents always
compare their children to other children. Parents compare have a reason. In
order to their children become like them. Actually, compare to other children
is not best way to make your children better. Moreover, children become hate
other children who always compare to them. Parents should not compare their
children to other children. Everyone is unique. Everyone has different
cleverness and skill. So, don’t compare and don’t demand your children to like
as other children. Remember, what parents’ say to their children are prays and
possible can be true. So, as parents have to careful when say something.
In conclusion, we
conclude that child is human who has feeling and have change to argue or give
opinion of something. When children get failure of something, parents have to
give some advices. Meanwhile when children success, parents should appreciate
children’s efforts.
Verbal violence looks
commonplace but actually has bad effect in children. They are can become unconfident,
afraid of parents. Moreover, they will be emotional like their parents. Verbal
violence not make children change be better because their aware, in other hand
they will change because afraid of their parents. So, it is possible children
repeat same mistakes again.

Narrative text is a text which is to entertain or to amuse the readers and the listeners by a story

One upon time, a mother duck sat on her eggs. She felt tired of sitting on them. She just wished the eggs would break out.
Several days later, she got her wish. The eggs cracked and some cute little ducklings appeared. "Peep, peep" the little ducklings cried. "Quack, quack" their mother greeted in return.
However the largest egg had not cracked. The mother duck sat on it for several days. Finally, it cracked and a huge ugly duckling waddled out. The mother duck looked at him in surprise. He was so big and very gray. He didn't look like the others at all. He was like a turkey.
When the mother duck brought the children to the pond for their first swimming lesson., the huge grey duckling splashed and paddled about just as nicely as the other ducklings did. "That is not a turkey chick. He is my very own son and quite handsome" the mother said proudly.
However, the other animals didn't agree. They hissed and made fun of him day by day. Even his own sisters and brothers were very unkind. "You are very ugly" they quacked.
The little poor duckling was very unhappy. "I wish I looked like them" he thought to himself. One day, the ugly duckling run away and hid in the bushes. The sad duckling lived alone through the cold and snow winter. Finally the spring flowers began to bloom. While he was swimming in the pond, he saw three large white swans swimming toward him. "Oh, dear. these beautiful birds will laugh and peck me too" he said to himself. But the swans did not attack him. Instead, they swam around him and stroked him with their bills. As the ugly duckling bent his neck to speak to them, he saw his reflection in the water. He could not believe his eyes. "I am not an ugly duckling but a beautiful swam" he exclaimed.
He was very happy. From that day on, he swam and played with his new friends and was happier than he had never been.
